This is an introductory poem for a book of short stories that I plan on publishing and 
"Short Stories for Long Days, " is going to be the title of it! 
 
SHORT STORIES FOR LONG DAYS 
I write short stories 
for long days. 
for those who 
stop at Mc'Donalds 
on the way. 
For those who 
pick up 
their kids from 
daycare, 
and ballet 
and tap 
after that. 
You finally 
arrive home 
to relax, 
your so fatigued 
that you 
just collapse, 
with a book you 
can appreciate,
