As an infant I pondered my purpose on earth Why was I granted with the gift of birth? Luck might you say? Could it be purely by chance? Or was I placed here to help man-kind advance? The meaning of life is contemplated by all Many turn to religion when other theories fall Though I myself chose not to comply For all my answers were found in the sky Her presence brought clarity, protection and glee A flawless combination -she was surely sent for me The sparkle of a thousand stars in her eyes With a smile that could illuminate the midnight skies No longer do I seek my duty on our globe For she claims the majority of my frontal lobe Never again will I dwell in fear Although our future is foggy, our love with persevere
