Silent Look
How do I quench this burning inside So many thoughts pounding the inside of my skull They want, need to get out But you don't know me Experience has told me you won't care So I sit quietly Trying not to let you see me look You won't understand. No one has The simple joy of sharing similar thoughts Is all I ever ask But it is impossible for someone who thinks as differently as me You all turn away So I sit quietly and hide my glance A sigh escapes me as you notice I know what is coming Some will briefly find the interesting spot on the ceiling Others will quickly turn to answer the ghost behind them For a moment I hope you will be different But no, I don't want to see it again I turn my back and walk away Dutifully studying the geology of the floor I have decided to save you from the burden I walk away silently Trying not to let you see me look

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
