Silent memories
All the things we held so close to our hearts, The warm embraces smile coldly from stone walls, mocking us.... A door once open with welcome, now lays eerily open with darkness. A silent memory seized by uncomfortable nothingness, rude remarks, and uncalled for behaviour.... As if it does the likes of us the greatest of favours. No remorse, or conscience to plague us, like an oozing sore, just there to remind us.
