Simple Pleasures
Simple pleasures For simple minds This thing they say Begins to Grind At my last nerve You can contemplate the stars And all their movements You can laugh at people And all their bemusements When they fail to understand No matter how complicated A person’s mind Every one of us Needs the time For our brain to rest Nothing helps me To rest my mind To sit back And begin to unwind Like something simple The smell of a flower Without knowing its name The laugh of a baby As it starts to play The colors of the sky At the start of the day These are my simple pleasures

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
