Single Crimson Lily
There I sat in wonder,the rolling hills creeping behind each other.The sun was sinking into the earth forcing an orange haze to surround the green scape.There it was!What a beautiful sight! within the soft hills carpeted with a delicate layer of meadow buttercups,there lay a single crimson lily.It was uplifting for a moment, then sorrow hit me. Left a bad taste on the tip of my tongue. This single gem surrounded by the masses is Alone.I pondered a bit, as a slight breeze tighted my skin in response to goosebumps.I caught a dash of pleasant aromas as the sky darkened, parallel to my vision. I closed my eyes.How could I be so lonely?
