Siren's Echo

08 May 2007

·Ava

I hear the Siren's song From the Lady of the Lake I stop and listen as my path crosses her shores I do not rush head long into her waters Her song does not affect me thus I do not wish to possess her or be possessed I hear the Siren's song I hear her passions, her pains, her longs Her lake an extension of her aura Her lake is a symbol of her solitude Partly her sanctuary and partly her cell Her lake keeps her safe, her lake keeps her alone I hear the Siren's song And I feel an echo in my heart Answering her song
