Slave to Temptation(Reworked)

I’m just a slave to temptation unable to say no when Lucifer calls we just stumble and fall oblivious to the fact he appears in any shape or form got my hopes dreams and world peace on bended knees, all I can do now is pray, crawl, till I’m able to rise up and walk tall hell hath no fury like a poet scorned poverty, lust, alcohol and drugs has had it’s turn and left an indelible mark I'm just so grateful to have survived like that stow away for 40 days on Noah's ark managed to kick all my bad habits and it ignited the spark to this form of scriptural art right here right now your engaged by the “Poetic One” I feel inspired to speak raise a fist and scream, Amandla! Ngawetu! Amandla! Ngawetu! sittin’ here stampin' my feet to this beat rhythmically beatin' in my chest, I must confess despite all the anguish all the sorrow, all the doubt I sense hope to lyrically reach out cause I’m aimin’ to get paid by capturin’ distorted thoughts on a page, livin' everyday to recite my heartfelt piece on this here M.P.F screen as soon as Garble adds audio supportin' the heat Hunger for knowledge has been mankind’s greatest allie but is also our greatest threat, reminisce on mother earth's recent kick backs and you’ll understand her destructive answers to all the abuse and exploitative toture humanity’s been puttin’ her through global warmin’ has brought along a couple of friends to even the odds Rita and Katrina's devastin' impact by simply swingin' there hips laid waist to that metropolis New Orleans with tsunami and earthquakes but the startin' point to an ends to mankind’s wicket means you got moneyed men playin’ gods by clonin’ a sheep and namin’ it dolly armed to the teeth with wasted billions as an excuse for demonic research foolishly lookin' for the answer to death experiments gone wrong has my neighbours and friends dyin' of their man made diseases like HIV/AIDS the way of the worlds gone materialistically cold with greed ridden temptation at the root of it all I'm a troubled post-struggle descendant free just to struggle with findin' me, Jur'ni seekin’ inner tranquility through poetry an outlet to my daily stress I’m burdened with schizophrenic tendencies holdin’ me back, causin’ me to be in constant conflict with where my minds explorin' at procrastination of self’s been keepin’ me mentally chained the need to break free is so plain to see raw creative talent destined to be exposed blessed with so much too share even if asthma got me gaspin' for air I fear not cause as soon as I get hold of the pen all complications to my life then just seize to exist like an epiphany experienced by a poet in full flight strengthened by your love and a unique insight on life I call on Almighty God Lord please help, so that I can break these chains bein' a slave to temptation brings....
