Sleeping eyes

·Ivy

Sleeping eyes, dormant minds There is no two of a kind. We are emotion, we are fear A child shed a single tear. Mothers die, fathers cry And yet we never cease to try. I saw a star that did not shine I long for one to call him mine. We do not think about the brink But yet we jump and start to sink. Another day, another night Tomorrow, yes, we’ll start a fight. There is null but sorrow, null but pain Could this all just be in vain?
