Slow-paced time
FIRST DRAFT, PLEASE MAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS...ALL ARE WELCOME.. THANKS The time is dragging lately, Almost as if sleeping. It’s like a caterpillar, When it’s slowly creeping. Why it’s not a little bird With some skillful wings, It could fly and deprive, While it love songs sings. Where are you my only one; The chosen of my heart? Slow-paced time have some mercy, Please don’t make us be apart. The sun, too, disappeared, And now I exactly know, How lonely sunflower feels With no sunshine glow. Night has fallen over fields; Oh so warm, thoroughly tender. Stars are winking from above, Oh my love, I surrender. Heavens, my eyes are tired And are closing on their own. Makes me happy cause I know That more time had flown.
