Small town

When I was young I abhorred small towns. There was nothing to do just ride around Stopping at the drug store to visit our friends Walking together with my girlfriend holding hands. I thought small towns had nothing for me Get married to someone, start a family Work all the time and live a boring life Coming home to an unhappy wife. Later in life, I left the small town I grew in But the cycle started all over again Wake up, work, and come home I finally realized this is the norm.
