Smiling

No one sees the pain I'm hiding. The pills, they keep me from crying. My smile is broken, inside I am dying. No one sees the pain I am hiding. I'm always there, never fighting Always bright, always shining, But no one sees the pain I'm hiding. How much longer must I pretend, how much longer till this all ends? I walk around all day smiling, cheering the crowds all around me, But no one sees inside I'm dying. Until when will the pills continue, I see no end, the doctor's refilling... Refills and refills, they cut me inside, But I continue to smile until I the day I die.
