I feel this restless rumbling in my heart stirring down in the recess of my spirit I see many acting like all is right but the pounding of pain deep inside I hear it Life we use to brag about is now a story full of conflict I took a glance through the past and saw us fall off the orbit Shared smiles with the ancestors Shared tears with the elders When I saw the curse clouding my peers The fight is now mental why do you bring spears There’s a rumour going around, I heard through the ears So to speak The pain is of blood and torture not of defeat Proposition: It is better being alive than buried Situation: We still have wars where people get killed Realisation: There’s now struggle with out casualties Attention: Listen and always remember this Man is dead but his spirit still lives We mourn him so how can he rest in peace The pain is strong so the tears drop We strong at heart so we climb for the top Living the generation of the might used for right The light is getting more bright I must be reaching the end of the tunnel The frequency is getting clearer so switch to the channel It’s not to impress so when I write I’m never inferior I stand to converse so come nearer It’s not what I can do for you but what you can do for me The only chance we have is through unity They cursed the youth now it’s hard to be an achiever We lost the direction it’s even harder to deliver So I never know either when I flow like a river Are you a believer Or just another victim of the plot?
