SOLITUDE
Who would have known That to be alone Gifts a beauty whose secret well kept For so we are born Distressed and forlorn We become in society’s bereft. Yet the greatest romance is the affair with the soul Where the truth delves milestones deep For the world ever mirrors, the thoughts strewn hither In recesses untouched and unseeked. A moment they stole from the maddening crowd great men have made their time Not a step they wandered, not a shrine seen yonder For the innate experience was divine. Why do you ask, “Have you seen Him?” Do you realise your journey knows no end? Reflection is the elixir sublime For it is all within, my friend.
