_Solitude_

·Quraz

Endlessly into the night a solitary candle burns, Drawing to it those who would seek its shelter. In a world of darkness it offers us a little warmth, A short companionship. Its heart is pure, deep gold and its soul, fiery hot, is good. Outside these curtained walls it has little effect, it stands no chance. But by my side and nurtured it offers beauty and light. A rare find in a misty world of nothing, A beacon of love and a promise of happier days.
