Solitude of Loneliness

Love lay to waste As I walked away With the thought of Forgiveness so far away Trying to rest, Calming down, My mind at ease As I turned around My thoughts slipping away going back To that one faithful day I heard her voice so far away That was the day My hart melted away I remember every thing From the smile on her face to the passion in her eyes Promise of devotion, I will not betray These words she used As we stood outside laughing at rain Opening my eyes Looking around To find the one fooling around Was knocking in the mirror Laughing me down Realizing the fault was mine Time already past me by Trying to go back Only to be denied As the solitude of loneliness Creeps up inside Giving a ripple effect across the corners in my mind
