Solo Moment

Such grandness, her highness felt She assumed the position and stood Allowing the red drapes to fall across A stage of black, light escaping from the wings Her heart beating faster than drums ever could Wild release of deepest emotion Stillness Ritualistic hands, clear mind Set in its stillness, in its immaculate moment Applause keeps his mouth shut And there is No Movement And no word in any language can describe Or transcribe or record that moment A moment so inexplicable that None can happen the same again Eruption, hands fold Music fades into music Words aren’t needed To say how much We were changed by A moment.
