Some Days
Some days I feel like Shiva A Goddess with many arms A mother needs many, for every task at hand Some days I feel like Artemis A Goddess hating men, When they only see the package and not the heart within Some days I feel like Kali A Goddess of call for blood When a man passes me over because I do not look the part Some days I feel like Mary Watching Jesus on the Cross Watching my children enduring is tearing me apart Some days I feel like Budda Incarnated in Kuan Yin With mercy and love abounding Some days I feel like Mother Earth The mother of us all When empathy and wisdom decends upon me But most days I feel hollow Empty and alone.
