Some Simple Things
I laugh at the fact that there are Creatures who know that They know nothing at all It is a flicker of divinity To understand this only fact I love the smell of pine trees On a hill at night after the rain Thistles whispering in the wind With the yellow lights of a small town Glowing down in the pass I can see the pauses Between the musical notes Simplicity is genius And so isn't it surpassing To write nothing at all?
