Some Simple Things

·CuldeSac

I laugh at the fact that there are Creatures who know that They know nothing at all It is a flicker of divinity To understand this only fact I love the smell of pine trees On a hill at night after the rain Thistles whispering in the wind With the yellow lights of a small town Glowing down in the pass I can see the pauses Between the musical notes Simplicity is genius And so isn't it surpassing To write nothing at all? His mother took orange skins From the consumed orange wedges And put red jello upon them Arranged them for the party guests In rows they waited My brother got small model cars One of them was a Corvette They put it away in a closet It was very special descending down Into the dark of the wishing fountain
