SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT As I look at a nebula Through a telescopes eye the more it looks like the eye of a fly. Or we might just be parasites on a giant creature’s skin, just too large to see where it all begins. Are we just sea monkeys, in a puddle of urine? Are we that important, to be the center of everything? Does the knowledge of our own insignificance give us pause for alarm? Or do we go on perpetuating our dreams of grandeur? Do we go on believing we’re the only one? It’s something to think about in the long run. Yes, it’s something to think about when we are gone. WordPlaya, February 18, 2010
