Somewhere in the heat of a jungle the tundra's cold on a hillside - the desert in a sprawling city or ruined village in a camp, settlement or colony in a lone hut or sprawled on the street, crouched in the dust a man or a woman a boy or a girl hungry, hurting sick, dying looks up at the night sky in wonder though puzzled at the moon's magnificence the star's splendor awed by the glory of God - His greatness midst hunger and pain sickness and death the horror and despair mixed with wonder and enchantment all of it too much- an enigma unsolvable?
