Songs Are An Inspiration

There are days in my life that I feel so strong But yet sometimes I succumb to a song. You hear the beat and lyrics and you try to relate The song is so personal it talks about love and hate. Every word that is sung brings different emotions It causes you to hurt and some inner commotions. There are some lyrics that bring a smile to your face. It reminds you of somebody, maybe a time or a place. I let the melody and rhythm take control of me With every verse that is played and all its harmony I am so immersed in the song, I forget those around This is my little world, where I am safe and sound. The lyrics can maneuver you in different ways They can either bring you closer or push you away I choose to let them get me closer to the ones I love Songs are an inspiration and for me, that's enough!
