Sorry

Writing to God to apologise for what we have done to the world that he created for us... Sorry When the ice melts and the rivers and seas weep heavy, toxic tears. When the clear skies have been burnt away as You watch in sorrow. When the parched earth gasps it’s last breath, green forever turns to brown. When greed consumes the world as we gorge ourselves to death while others starve. When what was once beautiful withers in lifeless defeat and can be violated no more. When nature screams out in final, lonely despair and no-one is left to say…. Sorry. Jayne McDonough2008©
