Spectrum of Irony
I can't stand it anymore The colors are too strong, I feel chocked by the flooding blues And burnt by the scorching reds The soothing greens are out there But the flood is too much, Each photon impacting my head Thunderous as the next color floods my mind Like the wave that carried it So I sit within the grey wall I have surrounded myself with, Absorbing the fury constantly approaching As I sit in the calm, longing to see Those radiant hues all around, I peek out and am overwhelmed So I step back behind my grey wall Reminded of why I placed myself here And pondering the irony, Of how someone who has lived for the color In order to save his life, Has willfully blocked out all of it.

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
