Spring
I took a breath yesterday Felt the sun upon my face And release a breath I didn't know I was holding Standing in the sun I realize how the earth must feel Locked away in winter slumber, longing for spring I took another breath Inhaling that sharp bite of cold air Inhaling the promise of spring, new beginning and life renewed I breathed out Exhaling all the stress and tension Exhaling all the longings, wanting a lover I can not have I stood there in the sun Feeling it's warmth on my face Feeling it's promise of a new beginning, a new life Today it snowed again. The sun obscured by thick gray clouds. Damn chinook screwing with us again.. Fuck I hate that.
