Springbreak Blues
It was a great Spring break My wife and I together all day Sleeping in and then going to the lake Pizza for breakfast, what can I say! We vowed not to spend too much money But the deals are so good to ignore How can I stop my wife, my love, my honey From buying succulents, cactus and more. I get in the bandwagon and start shopping too I look for more books and some tools for me If i can buy these things, i'll buy anything for you. We both think about it and then we agree. I tallied the expenses for fuel and our meals. It was outrageous and hard to explain I played it over in my head and it can't be real But the numbers don't lie, this is insane. The grandkids came to spend last days with us And they were so full of ideas and energy They wanted to eat. hike, run until we had enough Now we're physically exhausted and no money. We can call this Springbreak a success. We were able to do, all we wanted to do. But now we will need a full month's rest To recover from the Springbreak blues!
