I have been going to church for many years And I am baffled by the way we behave I have seen many of God's family in tears Because of all the anger and the rage. We go around and tell others about Christ Then we spew the most hateful words I don't know if we will ever receive the prize Do we want Him as Savior, not our Lord? I've seen hate in all colors, shapes, and forms Yet we seem so prepared to defend our cause What we really need is our heart to be transformed Because if we don't change, there's a cost. I pray for a genuine and sincere repentance From our wicked ways and pseudo-religion We must take a strong and powerful stance Against all this evil in our church and nation.
