Star-crossed
Can you believe what has transpired? I can't explain it, or just don't want to It's like a different culture in a matter of weeks Changes in personalities, persons Rollercoaster of emotions and unfamiliar surprises From different places and even stranger faces But in the midst of all this confusion, our eyes Meet, and we suddenly see how it can only be Star-crossed... never do I want to feel Or have the sensation that I'm throwing away my Soul for the gratification of a cheap thrill Forgetting focus, that peculiar friend And trusting the foe of a wandering mind Stealing time, and planting seeds that may never Grow, or more importantly, should never grow... Star-crossed for eternity, but for a moment we imagine our Passion floods the room and like immortals we wish To be stuck in that moment forever, like helpless Fallen angels we have chosen to defile our sacred Treasures for unbridled moments of unforgettable pleasures Keep it to heart, and don't speak of the Times of deep longing when fits of lust begin to creep Life doesn't make sense and focus leaves when Two star-crossed lovers for the first time meet Let it die and move on, for eternity Is a long time to suffer just for sweet memories seared Into the soul.
