Starry Starry Night
The fairies of heaven Danced across The veil of night Such grace and beauty At the sight Not knowing the end Would come tonight. Such little children In fiery death As we did cry House flattened Friends did die And mother rock Drew nearer nigh. Closer fluttered Wielding power In red hot glow And tears we shed As we did know Eternal night And never morrow. A chance to breathe Some last regrets A sweet adieu And hug my mother For she knew too Would be the last We’d ever do.
