State of our Nation
I long for the day when we all can say There is no difference between us anyway We have the same needs and the same wants. Sometimes we are just wretched dilettantes. . We think of ourselves as holier than thou But by the way we live, it raises an eyebrow There are times we don't get things resolved Because we don't want to get involved. Grave things happen to people everyday Because we don't want to start affray So we keep our comments to ourselves Then we implode from within and rebel. Be aware about the state of our nation And maybe if we would pay more attention We would clearly see the writing on the wall If we keep this up, our nation will slowly fall. .
