Stirrings

·alleycat

Leaves of trees Blanket my bed A silly old alleycat Keeps watch at my head These things of nature Amother's fond child One chose their own course Wayward andwild Forsaking the fortune I've given to life Replacing with darkness Pollution and strife I send them warnings They don't heed or care Destroying my children For their public welfare I stir, and storms Sweep in from the sea Frown,my wrinkles Cause many to flee Please heedmy message I pray you will hear Dreams of destruction My wakingdraws near Soon I will strike No choice to be had One out of many Their story most sad Createa companion Mybounty bestow Instead bringing heartache Man makes me his foe mr_alleycat
