When crumpled leaves fall to earth When songs of birds are not heard When shades atop of land is grey When misty smoke haunts the bay Stone faces and empty hearts How to bring change? When leaves of colour red, brown or green Gently float down eager to be seen When ears awaken to hear the songs Sung by birds that right all wrongs When hints of blue peer through the grey Like specks of diamonds that appear at end of day When every reflection is clearly seen Across the bay that epitomizeseverything serene Smiles warm every face and full becomes every heart Embrace Nature. ©liya 2010
