Sitting on the corner Watching the world go by Trying to imagine what's going on In everyone else's mind There's a fighting couple Almost wishing for the end They thought they loved each other But now they're not even friends A mother and her children Playing on the swings The little boy is superman And the little girl has wings A business woman is rushing She's got to be in two places right now Her nerves are frayed But still she carries on somehow He walks by with his arm around her She laughs and looks into his eyes There's a smile on her face But then that's no surprise If every story has an ending Then it must have a beginning too I can make up that story For every one of you
