Storms

·CuldeSac

Memory surges Forgotten feelings into your heart, A certain thunder, then, seering In your veins. Smelling the rain, the storm having passed Smelling the blood, the life that flowed The touch, the smell of grass But the sky, now,is tearing Like a silver lake about to break Free out of heaven, but in a moment All fear is gone. All dreams are faded into the darkness. This celestial lake Casted away the darkness that is reality Revealing sentimental images lost to adulthood. My friends are still, somewhere deep, Cheerfully laughing up a storm... Memories were found on the play ground, It was a place of a certian sanctity, Where we tasted our sweat from the brow, Where we became part of the grass, On the play ground... Somethings have been lost down the river... Alas, Storms are still around showering rain, And, while I observe these droplets of water At this scene of a grey dawn, How I watch each as they are memories of yesterday Dwindling down this Glass window Called my Brain.
