Strange
Say what you will about the mouth and everything it gives: smiles, sighs kisses, lies kept and broken promises But if I want the Truth I’ll take the eyes any day Every person’s has a spark though some are buried in some dark, dull place Lost in stars, perhaps or hidden And then there’s them: Eyes I’ve never seen before but somehow feel like home Looking deeply into them’s like looking at my own. Strange.
