·The Don

Strangers By: Laigan Ahkee Unfamiliar faces in everyday places, The same abroad, but all still strangers, Pity though, that no one stops to say hello Passer byers on city sidewalks would rather remain oblivious to God’s creation Pity as they walk on by they stares with disbelieveand never greet. Creations told a million stories, Just watchthe life line of poor beggers faces unfold. Pity though that all they ask for is a penny nothing more. But humanity as crude as we are, just shrug them off!! Walk the city streets you will see people lurking in every crevasse of the heat Faced with addictions, addicted to hearing victims screaming. All because theyscarred from the mockery of fellow brethren so cold. Everyday faces in familiar places, The same abroad but all still strangers.... You’venever stopped to realize that a simple hello friend or foe could lift their spirits, even if just a little though. Youwalk on by, not a grin nor crythrough familiar grounds whose stories remainuntold. Everyday places I’ve seen familiar faces, Not once didI stop to say hello. Inevitable by God’s handthat our paths collide, but still we choose to remain oblivious to the unknown.....
