Imperceptibly tiny loops of string
Are what make up everything
Vibrating here and pinching there
Through dimensions a trillionth a human hair

The atoms that make up you and me
Are made of quarks in groups of three
Each are tiny little strings
With a unique frequency it rings

This is not the whole story

In a dimension beyond our sight
Energy waves make rings of light
As they wash over particles of fluid space
We perceive strings in our limited way
