Stuffy summer evenings

Every year the shooting stars arrive in august Blazing orange They bring stuffy summer evenings full of wonder I feel alive Watch the last meteorite burn through atmosphere Gemini fades In my bed of grass and blackberries I inhale Night’s final breath And greet the warm red glow of an Oregon dawn.
