Sugar intolerance

I cooked scrambled eggs He likes to have protein for breakfast doesn’t tolerate sugar. I’m a jar of marmalade forgotten at the back of his fridge left open for too long because he lost the lid. Whenever he takes me out, there’s emptiness between us The table sways and I’m on the edge. I fall when he reaches for salt. He says protein makes him full for longer so I sink into the carpet Sticky reminder of the annoying intolerance.
