July 5, 2009 You... were just a temporary fix to all things I couldn’t fix I wanted, but he didn’t you had it, so i took it don’t be mistaken, you weren't the one i loved i thought of him each and every time Wrapped it up in a glove No false hopes No imitations He’s the only one I love No limitations You were just a one time thing Beginning of the summer- kinda fling But please, don’t take it personal It was good while it lasted And although I wont blast it, It was well worth it. I thought of him though At the same time feeling the guilt Woke up next to you And left the shower filled with filth And when his phone call came The ring tone you heard Couldn’t face him just then So his call I ignored. I never thought myself a cheater, Because those I despise So I won’t be in denial And I wont tell anyone lies It was him that said he wasn’t ready for the commitment So is there any reason I should have the feeling of resentment? But It was once in a lifetime And it won’t happen again So this story right here will be the last memory Of our affair that weekend
