I awaken to the sunrise, the tender light so pure yet im wonton for a different kiss, to which I've yet endured I crave the presence of a lass, her image I cant wave impressions deep, I cannot sleep, a mind's eye picture saved her hair the golden stuff of dreams, her eyes so green and soft she seems so fragile, verged to break, I dare not touch aloft the smile across her shatters hearts, her touch, can pierce the soul until I see her, I can't eat, my one and only goal I try to walk and stumble, in sentences I slurr if all was from one person, it surely would be her she tells me many stories, she doubles mine in scale I cannot help to listen to these every-colored tales and now the sun doth set in eve, my day had yet begun! I have not seen the lass today, it musn't yet be done! I race strait down the whethered trail, I never stop to breathe her beauty floating through my thoughts, my legs begin to sleeve I slack, and trip, and roll a while, my body ached in pain I cannot let it end this way, I start to sprint again her front door lit with fireflies, im only yards away I slow, my heart still beating fast, I'll see her yet today I crawl atop the porch and knock, with my remaining strength I sprawl across the wooden floor, and pant for a great length she opens up and comes to aid, I see her doey eyes my heart begins to lighten, and I feel like I can fly the sunset made me overwork, but i had reached my goal at morn' I was a lifeless husk, my body cold like coal I still remember one last sight, those softened doey eyes as I run again at sunset, and die at next sunrise
