Superficial light
Trapped in this fragile Shell of indifference I gaze, as always from within a sanctuary, through the cracks, of a sheltered life Unworthy to the soft allure bestowed upon those with boldness encrypted on ivory smiles of wickedness, nothingness As they bathed and danced In the ever present glow, I was content with a darkened shell of second handedness Of a light filtered down by chance Until I watched the once faint light shimmer glimmer Fracturing through my shell of indifference Now broken Alas, this light was nothing but a superficial token…
