Sur Moon Shimmered and frosted of icy crusts Of chalk in a charcoal sky The silicate lights, a city.. Embers of an arctic pyre Burned but ghosts for ghosts From haunted memories To infinite ends .. I wrote this months ago when the moon was particularly beautiful here in NH, messed with it for awhile and I think Im finally happy with it. I want to hear others oppinions. It was longer originally but I trimmed it down. I want to stargaze the way I used to. Id see so many shooting stars and satelites. If you ever just stand at night and stare at whats all around you. Think about how small you are in the grander scheme of things, it fills you with wonder. Would if I was there and the star was here? How sad is a broken heart or wounded pride against a cold timeless sky? Are you alone? It can make you feel like fuel for a fire, you may burn bright for awhile but will always subside. Its a way to expand your consciousness. It makes your mind do bellyflops. The moon and that are what this is all about.
