Susie's Pony
*PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE READING THE POEM: This is by far my favorite piece of which I have ever written. It's about my retarded sister Susie and her struggle to ride a pony. If you're going to read and comment on this poem, I would appreciate well thought out critique. I have a huge attachment to this piece, and if it is going to be torn apart, I'd like it done properly and with thought and respect. Susie's pony Oh poor Susie, why are you thwarted? It was only a pony you wished for an equine animal for the retarded I shall always hear your vaguely comprehensible pleas One day your (mildly) retarded body I will reclaim from your home with the insane and I'll take you, Susie, to be gay with a pony joyful all day and night, frolicking and not lonely but like with the poison crayons, alas made over the mighty seas disaster will likely come to pass you'll be kicked and littered as debris
