There stands a man With no more hopes to fulfill a dream, Bitter emptiness Fills him, bursting at the seam, He drinks, he's high It's over. Bring me comfort in this rain The storm's not over, Need something stronger for this pain The life's not over yet, Oh watch, Just watch him dying. There stands a man Letting go of every mile, Legs are worn Yet nothing seems was worth the while, He falls, he curls It's over. Sing me hymns beyond the veil The road's not over, Another caution in a tale, The road's not over yet, Oh watch, Just watch him crossing.
