Sweet December
She is as young as satin She wears a crown of leaves Underneath her silk dress Her skin is smooth as velvet She tells me she is naked Before they corrupted her With odd tales of power She was shy about her urges The night grew quiet then Quiet like it is in December What is red and shiny Stands out so very stark Loneliness tastes great It shows me the meaning Of having good company What looks fine can be lost Ugliness is an inspiration And I do love Christmas
