Oh, how I hate being a kid, people telling me what to do. Oh, how I hate being old, everyone orders me around too. Oh, how I hate being a kid, adults reminding me what I can't do. Oh, how I hate being old, they don't even trust me to get to the loo. Oh, how I hate being a kid, not allowed to drive and have any fun. Oh, how I hate being old, lost my license, now must I run? Oh, how I hate being a kid, ladies call me darling and sweetie. Oh, how I hate being old, they call me that too, it's like verbal graffiti. Oh, how I hate being a kid, now I'm getting bumps on my face. Oh, how I hate being old, sixty years later and of bumps still a trace. Oh, how I hate being a kid, I look at the girls and can just pant. Oh, how I hate being old, I look at the girls and just can't. Young to old, change your face, change your name, when it all comes 'round things stay the same.
