Like a symphony the tune began Singing its sweet melody of sorrow Tying in together the notes Bringing promises of a better tomorrow The chords were struck and it happened A verse of three, like happy laughter Ringing like echoes in space Seeming to be forever after Two notes clashed, leaving one The sound of it hollowed Two would chime and one would sing Alas where one went, two always followed
