Tainted Heaven
The Bible may have described it true And sparked an interest from the likes of you But know this, O Believer, with noble intentions The Bible has forgot something to mention If Creation’s cause is the Earth and Heaven Why God chose, mighty galaxies to enliven? If Earth was chosen to be God’s playground Why keep others, rooted on the ground Is God ignorant about the rest of the Universe? Or is it some kind of long forbidden curse? The Heaven we know of is a perfect paradise But the world is burning to this Heaven’s guise The heart of realists is filled with trepidation Yet this Heaven has consoled a civilization Fanatics willing to die in the name of their God Is promised Heaven’s gateway with a sarcastic nod Children rejoice while mothers cry from inside For Heaven never came to those who died The world needs healing from this infectious plague Where wisdom is nullified and Knowledge seems vague Vile concepts of Sin and guilt torment this land Behold this Tainted Heaven, let its glory be grand.
