Take It Or Leave It
Written By Glenn McCrary & Tyler Nytchay They judge us, bark harsh words, throw objects, but we remain standing They should let us be as free as the birds instead of bringing us down crash landing We sleep together, like normal couples do. We look into each others eyes saying 'I love you.' Why is that so wrong in the eyes of others why should we have to lie or stay undercover We shouldn't hide from this hatred, lets step out and be strong They say that life’s what we make it lets show these people we belong Forget all the judgements focus on you and your partner. ignore the fear show them the bond can’t be broken Actions speak much louder than words better to act now than to be soft spoken Shout back by showing what love really is instead of observing from the sidelines Don’t follow the crowd be a leader Create your own set of guidelines Woman and Woman Man and Man We’re all equal Why’s that so hard to understand?
